Raised in a family with both Canadian and Indigenous roots, Brad credits much of his perspective to the values passed down through generations, including those from his grandmother, who was of Mohawk descent. After his family returned to Canada from the unites states and settled in the Bay of Quinte region, he was raised to have a strong appreciation for the area’s rich history, diverse communities, and small-town spirit.
Following his Bachelor of Business from Laurentian University, Brad began his career in economic development, supporting entrepreneurs and business growth initiatives. Those experiences helped shape his belief in the importance of community, collaboration, and long-term relationships, principles that continue to guide Northern Leisure today.
